Cranking Engine Using A Remote Starter Button

- Switch ignition off.
- Detach cover over engine component compartment.
- Open cover of terminal block (X4/10).
- Unplug connector (S) of plug connection (X27).
- Connect alligator clip (A) of compression tester, special tool 001 589 77 21 00, at pin 1 of connector.
- Connect alligator clip (B) of compression pressure recorder at the terminal block (X4/10).
- With parking brake applied, crank engine in idle speed position by pushing contact handle (arrow) on compression tester.


CAUTION: Do not crank engine using ignition starter switch.
