Injectors

Fuel Rail (17) With Injectors:

1. Remove ground cable from battery.
2. Remove all electrical connectors running via fuel rail to the intake manifold.
3. Remove fuel supply and return lines.

WARNING: Fuel may be under pressure. Use a rag or other protective device to shield your face from the fuel spray.

4. Remove vacuum line from pressure regulator.
5. Remove screws (16).
6. Carefully remove fuel rail with injectors from intake manifold.
7. Remove fuel injector plugs (arrow).

Fuel Injectors (Y62):

8. Pull lock (12) off at each injector.
9. Remove injection valves (Y62) from fuel rail.
10. Replace injection valve (Y62) O-rings (14).
11. Install injection valves (Y62) into fuel rail.
12. Install fuel injector locks (12). Lock must engage in square lug (arrow) at injection valve.
13. Install in reverse order.
14. Run engine and check for leaks.
