Accelerator Pedal/Pivot

Accelerator Linkage:

33 Accelerator pedal cover
34 Firewall pivot point
34/1 Locking element
34/3 Circlip

1. Remove accelerator pedal.
2. Remove firewall pivot point (34) together with accelerator pedal cover (33).
3. Pull firewall pivot point off accelerator pedal lever (33).
^ Pull off locking element (34/1) for this step.

NOTE:
Locking element for accelerator pedal lever modified.
The circlip (34/3) has been phased in to replace the locking element (34/1).
Use only circlip (34/3) in future.

4. Install in reverse order.





5. The locking pin (arrow) of the firewall pivot point (34) must engage in the hole in the firewall.
6. Check throttle control, adjust.
