RA03001195000X Remove/Install Retaining Lock For Crankshaft/Ring Gear

Transmission Installed:







- Models 124, 129, 140: Remove left front exhaust cross pipe remove.
- Remove cover at left starter recess.
- Insert retaining lock, special tool 116 589 01 40 00, (1) into ring gear until it engages, rotate crankshaft if necessary.


Transmission Removed:

- Bolt on bracket, special tool 119 589 00 40 00, (2) on left side of crankcase, unbolt.
- insert retaining lock, special tool 116 589 01 40 00, (1) into bracket (2) and insert into ring gear until it engages, rotate crankshaft if necessary.
