Cold Start Valve

Cold Start Valve:

The cold start valve which is centrally located in the intake manifold, injects fuel for a limited period to aid the starting process.
Activation of the start valve is a function of the fuel pump relay and varies dependent on coolant temperature and cranking speed input. If the engine starts before the cold start valve completes its cycle, cold start injection is cancelled.
