Cold Start Valve

Cold Start Valve:

The cold start valve which is centrally located in the intake manifold, injects fuel for a limited period to aid the starting process.
Control of the cold start valve occurs according to a CIS-E control unit map which creates a pulsating injection of the start valve. Cold start injection does not occur at temperatures above 158°F.
