Fuel Gauge Sender: Service and Repair

Removing and installing fuel gauge sender

Model 107






Disconnect battery ground cable
Take off hardtop
Open softtop
Unclip cover
Unplug coupling at fuel gauge sender (B4), secure against slipping off.
Remove fuel gauge sender (B4), run empty if necessary.
Replace seal.
Remove securing pin below adhesive strip (of new part).
Tightening torque 40 Nm.
