SUBJECT: LINING OF THE PARTITION BETWEEN TRUNK AND FUEL TANK MODEL 107.04

FIGURE 1 SCREW FOR FUEL EXPANSION TANK:

Since November 1982, the partition between the trunk and fuel tank has a modified lining. The new lining is now glued to the partition with an approximately 100 mm wide strip at the top and bottom, over the entire width of the partition.

The screw (1, Figure 1) holding the partition to the fuel expansion tank is no longer visible through the lining. Only the modified lining (no opening for screw for the fuel expansion tank) will be supplied as a spare part. The part number remains unchanged.

Installation

Prior to removal of the partition, the lining, must be removed to gain access to the mounting screws and the screw for the fuel expansion tank.

After installing the partition, the lining is glued to the top and bottom of the partition with an approximately 100 mm wide strap of adhesive over the entire width of the partition. Apply M-B Universal Adhesive (Part Number 000 989 82 71) to the partition and glue on the lining starting at the top.
