Quick Test

NOTE: Test method for ambient temperature of +20°C to +40°C. Check values can be read after approximately 5 minutes.

1. Vehicle should not be exposed to sunshine before and during test.
2. Switch on air conditioning (A/C) system and watch sight glass in receiver drier for flow free of bubbles shortly after compressor clutch switches on.
3. Engage temperature dial to "MAX".
4. Set defroster and floor levers to inside stop.
5. Open air nozzles.
6. Insert one thermometer into center nozzle.
7. Attach one thermometer for ambient temperature (room temperature) approximately 2m away from drivers side.
8. Open windows and close vehicle doors. Run engine at 2000 rpm.

Ta = Ambient Temperature (°C)

9. After 5 minutes read air outlet temperature and room temperature (ambient temperature) on both thermometers and compare with values on table.

NOTE: The cold air outlet should not be less than +1°C.
