Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Inspection





INPUT/TURBINE SPEED SENSOR INSPECTION [FS5A-EL]

CAUTION:
- Do not allow foreign material or water to penetrate the connector. Otherwise, it could cause poor contact and corrosion.

On-Vehicle Inspection

1. Disconnect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.
a. Remove the battery cover. Removal and Replacement

b. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

c. Remove the air cleaner component. Service and Repair

d. Disconnect the input/turbine speed sensor connector.






2. Measure resistance between input/turbine speed sensor terminals A and B.






- If there is any malfunction, replace the input/turbine speed sensor. Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Removal/Installation

Input/turbine speed sensor resistance
- 250-600 ohms

Part Inspection

1. Measure resistance between input/turbine speed sensor terminals A and B.






- If there is any malfunction, replace the input/turbine speed sensor.
