Body Control Module (BCM) Bracket No. 1 Removal/Installation

BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) BRACKET NO.1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts:
a. Dashboard under cover (passenger's side) Dashboard Under Cover Removal/Installation

b. Glove compartment Service and Repair

c. Side wall Side Wall Removal/Installation

d. Center console box Center Console Box Removal/Installation

e. Console panel Console Panel Removal/Installation

f. Center console Center Console Removal/Installation

g. Shift lever knob (MTX) Service and Repair

h. Selector lever knob (ATX) Automatic Transaxle Shift Mechanism Removal/Installation

i. Shift panel Shift Panel Removal/Installation

j. Front console Front Console Removal/Installation

k. Side panel Side Panel Removal/Installation

l. Front scuff plate (passenger's side) Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

m. Front side trim (passenger's side) Front Side Trim Removal/Installation

n. Lower panel (passenger's side) Lower Panel Removal/Installation

o. BCM Body Control Module (BCM) Removal/Installation

3. Remove the screws shown in the figure.






4. Press and release the tab in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, and pull BCM bracket No.1 in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure to remove it from the BCM.






5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
