Front Blower Motor Installation





FRONT BLOWER MOTOR INSTALLATION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER]



1. Install the SST (49 B061 015A) to the front blower motor.






2. Install the front blower motor with the SST (49 B061 015A) installed, to the A/C unit.

3. Position the front blower motor projection upward and install the front blower motor to the A/C unit.

CAUTION:
- To prevent damage to the sirocco fan, install the front blower motor being careful that the front blower motor does not interfere with the A/C unit. Also, another person must hold the front blower motor at the installation position.





4. To install, rotate the front blower motor cover until a click is heard.
NOTE:
- Install the front blower motor cover from the driver-side.





5. Connect the front blower motor connector as shown in the figure.






6. Install the front blower motor cooling pipe.






7. Rotate the SST (49 B061 015A) in the direction shown by the arrow.






8. Remove the SST (49 B061 015A) from the front blower motor.






9. Install the air guide.

CAUTION:
- Install the front blower case while pressing the dashboard insulator, otherwise the front blower case could be damaged.

10. Insert the screw into the front blower case.






11. Connect the air intake actuator connector.

12. Insert the front blower case in the direction shown in the figure.






13. Insert and rotating it in the directions of the arrows shown in the figure.






14. Install the following parts:
a. Brake pedal Service and Repair

b. Accelerator pedal Service and Repair

c. Airflow mode actuator Airflow Mode Actuator

d. Front heat duct Front Heat Duct Removal/Installation

e. Knee bolster Knee Bolster Removal/Installation

f. Lower panel (driver-side) Lower Panel Removal/Installation

g. Hood release lever Service and Repair

h. Lower panel (passenger-side) Lower Panel Removal/Installation

i. Glove compartment Service and Repair

j. Side panel Side Panel Removal/Installation

k. Front console Front Console Removal/Installation

l. Shift panel Shift Panel Removal/Installation

m. Selector lever knob (ATX) Automatic Transaxle Shift Mechanism Removal/Installation

n. Shift lever knob (MTX) Service and Repair

o. Center console Center Console Removal/Installation

p. Console panel Console Panel Removal/Installation

q. Center console box Center Console Box Removal/Installation

r. Side wall Side Wall Removal/Installation

s. Front side trim Front Side Trim Removal/Installation

t. Front scuff plate Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

15. Connect the negative battery cable.

Front blower Case Installation Note

1. If not replacing the front blower case, replace the adhesive polyurethane on the fresh-air inlet of the front blower case.






CAUTION:
- To adhere new polyurethane properly, be sure to remove the adhesive agent and adhesive polyurethane completely.

NOTE:
- If the front blower case is removed or installed, the adhesive polyurethane can be damaged. Damaged adhesive polyurethane could cause abnormal noise or other malfunctions, therefore replace it.
