Keyless Entry Transmitter: Service and Repair





KEYLESS ENTRY REMOTE TRANSMITTER DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY

1. Insert a flathead screwdriver into the notch of the keyless entry remote transmitter, and press the tab to remove the key from the keyless entry remote transmitter.






2. Insert a flathead screwdriver into the notch of the keyless entry remote transmitter and open it.






3. Remove the battery by pressing it in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.






4. Install the new battery (CR1620) with the plus pole facing down.






5. Align the keyless entry remote transmitter cover and close.

- Lithium battery CR1620

Battery life
- Approx. 2 years (when used approx. 10 times/day)

6. Install the key to the keyless entry remote transmitter.






CAUTION:
- If the key is not completely installed to the keyless entry remote transmitter, they may come apart. When connecting the key to the keyless entry remote transmitter, grip the key and the keyless entry remote transmitter until a click sound is heard.
