Procedures A Through F
PROCEDURE ANoise occurs at the mating spot (A) between the main unit (B) of front door trim or the rear door trim and the face panel (C).
NOTE:
Repair procedure is the same for both front and rear door.
1. Push the pin or the tab (A) (B) behind the face panel with a hand and create a space between the main trim unit and the face panel.
2. Cut a 30mm x 50mm piece of unwoven cloth, fold it in half, stick it together and insert it into location (A). Location (B) shows unwoven cloth hidden behind trim.
NOTE:
If there are other locations of noise, insert the Unwoven cloth there as well.
3. Pull the unwoven cloth (A), which is sticking out to the surface of the trim main unit, from behind the trim until it is no longer visible from the front.
NOTE:
To prevent the unwoven cloth behind the trim from dropping, apply a piece of tape over the unwoven cloth (A).
PROCEDURE B
Noise occurs from the lower edge of the front door trim (A).
Starting with the molding line (A) behind the trim, apply the unwoven cloth approx. 520mm in length (B) while covering the side piece of the lower edge (C).
PROCEDURE C
Noise occurs from the lower edge rib area of the front doortrim (A).
Cut a 50mm x 15mm piece of unwoven cloth (A), insert it between the rib (B) and the pocket (C).
PROCEDURE D
Noise occurs from the rear edge of the front door trim (A).
Cut a 10mm x 240mm piece of unwoven cloth and apply it below the already installed 120mm unwoven cloth (A).
PROCEDURE E
Noise occurs from the front edge of the rear door trim (A).
Cut a 10mm x 70mm piece of unwoven cloth and apply it to the edge behind the trim.
PROCEDURE F
Noise occurs from the inner handle of the rear door trim.
Apply the unwoven cloth to the contact area with the door body. (Apply it to all A-F locations shown below).
WARNING:
Make sure that the unwoven cloth does not contact the cable or link.
