RATTLE NOISE FROM DOOR PANEL TRIM

DESCRIPTION

Some vehicles may exhibit a vibration or rattle type noise from the door panel trim when listening to the audio system with high volume.

Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Verify customer concern.

2. Determine which door(s) is causing the noise:

a. Place a hand on the suspected door panel(s) to isolate door with concern.

b. Apply hand pressure on different locations of the door panel with symptom to isolate location of noise.

3. Remove the door panel trim and apply the unwoven cloth to the area behind the trim where the noise is occurring.





NOTE:
Procedure "A" through "F", use the thinnest material (unwoven pad) from the Noise Parts Set kit.
