FRONT MUDGUARD FASTENER BROKEN BY WEIGHT OF SNOW

2011 Mazda2 vehicles built before JM1DE****B*303008 (December 27, 2010)

DESCRIPTION





Some vehicles may experience snow stuck to the front mudguard (A). The front tires may splash snow between the mudguard and vehicle body. The weight of the snow may cause mudguard fastener breakage. The front mudguards have been revised to correct this concern.

Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Verify customer concern.

2. Replace the front mudguard(s). Refer to MS3 online or Workshop Manual (section 09-16 MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).

NOTE:
Only replace the front mudguard(s) with customer concern.

3. Verify repair.
