Fuel Door Release Cable: Service and Repair

FUEL-FILLER LID OPENER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. To remove the fuel-filler lid opener, remove the left side trunk side trim.

2. To remove the fuel-filler lid opener cable, perform the following and partially peel back the floor covering.
a. Remove the driver-side front seat. Front Seat Removal/Installation

b. Remove the driver-side front scuff plate. Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

c. Remove the driver-side rear scuff plate. Rear Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

d. Remove the driver-side B-pillar lower trim. B-Pillar Lower Trim Removal/Installation

e. Remove the passenger-side trunk side trim.

3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.










4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

5. Adjust the fuel-filler lid. Adjustments
