Rear Door Latch: Service and Repair

REAR DOOR LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts:
a. Sail garnish (5 door) Service and Repair

b. Rear door garnish (5 door)

c. Regulator handle (Vehicles with manual window system) Regulator Handle Removal Regulator Handle Installation

d. Rear door trim Service and Repair

e. Rear door glass Rear Door Glass Removal/Installation

f. Rear door speaker Rear Door Speaker Removal/Installation

g. Inner handle Service and Repair

h. Rear door unit Rear Door Unit Removal/Installation

3. Pull the stopper of the rear door lock actuator connector in the direction of the arrow (1).

4. Disconnect the rear door lock actuator connector while pushing at point A.






5. Remove the rear door latch and lock actuator from the rear door unit.

6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
