Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

IDLE AIR CONTROL (IAC) VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [BP, BP WITH TC]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air hose and the throttle body (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [BP].) (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [BP WITH TC].)
3. Disconnect the IAC valve connector.
4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.







5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
