Time Lag Test
Time Lag Test1. Perform mechanical system test preparation.
2. Shift the selector lever from the N position to D range.
3. Use a stopwatch to measure the time it takes from shifting until engagement is felt.
4. Shift the selector lever to the N position and idle the engine for at least one 1. minute.
5. Perform the time lag test for the following shifts in the same manner. Make three measurements for each test and average the results.
6. Perform the test for the following shifts in the same manner.
1. N position - D range
2. N position - D range (HOLD mode)
3. N position - R position

N position - D range...approximately 0.9 seconds
N position - R position...approximately 1.1 seconds
