Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection

TRANSAXLE FLUID TEMPERATURE (TFT) SENSOR INSPECTION [GF4A-EL]
1. Remove the TFT sensor.





2. Place the TFT sensor in ATF along with a thermometer as shown, and heat the ATF gradually.

3. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the TFT sensor.
- If not as specified, replace the TFT sensor.
4. Install the TFT sensor.
