Catalytic Converter: Service and Repair

EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION




1. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) (Front) Removal/Installation Note




1. Use the SST to remove or install the HO2S.

Tightening torque: 29 - 49 N.m {2.9 - 5.0 kgf.m, 21 - 36 ft.lbf}

Warm Up Three Way Catalytic Converter (WU-TWC) Installation Note




1. Tighten the bolts and nuts in the order shown.

Tightening torque: 16 - 22 N.m {1.6 - 2.3 kgf.m, 12 - 16 ft.lbf}
