11: TCS Indicator Light and/or TCS OFF Light Do Not Illuminate

NO.11 TCS INDICATOR LIGHT AND/OR TCS OFF LIGHT DO NOT ILLUMINATE





^ When performing an asterisked (*) troubleshooting inspection, shake the wiring harness and connectors while doing the inspection to discover whether poor contact points are the cause of any intermittent malfunctions. If there is a problem, check to make sure connectors, terminals and wiring harness are connected correctly and undamaged.

Caution:
^ Recheck the diagnostic trouble code after repair completion,

Note:
^ When the engine coolant temperature is below 0°C (32°F), the TCS OFF light stays on until the engine warms up to the normal operating temperature (max. approx. 15 min.). If the light goes off after warming up, the system is normal.
^ The TCS OFF light illuminates at key on engine off. Start engine and inspect again.
^ If any symptoms have occurred in the past but are now okay, malfunction of related harness could be the possible cause and thus ABS CM is normal.
