HO2S Monitor Repair Verification Drive Cycle

NOTE:
- The IAT PID must be below 76 °C {170 °F} to initiate the HO2S/TWC monitor.
- The FLI PID must be above 15% to initiate the HO2S/TWC monitor.
- Monitor implement waiting condition will start after 5 minutes of engine started.
- After the monitoring conditions are set, system testing requires at least 30 seconds to complete.

1. Connect NGS tester to data link connector.
2. Warm vehicle up and verify ECT PID is within 80 - 115 °C {175 - 240 °F}.
3. Drive vehicle within 48 - 204 km/h {30 - 127 mph} and maintain a constant speed for at least 2 minutes.
4. Return to idle for at least 20 seconds.
5. Stop vehicle and access to "ON BOARD SYSTEM READINESS" menu of "GENERIC OBD II FUNCTION" to check the drive mode completion status.
- If completed, RFC changes from "NO" to "YES".
- If not completed, turn the ignition key to off then repeat Steps 3 to 5 at least one more time.

6. Access to "DIAGNOSTIC MONITORING TEST RESULTS" menu of "GENERIC OBD II FUNCTIONS" to check the monitor results. If "MEAS" are not within specification, repair has not completed.




7. Verify no DTCs are available.
