OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR INSPECTION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the output speed sensor connector.
3. Remove the output speed sensor.

NOTE: Resistance value output speed sensor varies with temperature. Normal resistance value occurs when the temperature is 20° C (68° F), but it may be abnormal at high temperatures. Therefore, do not determine the resistance value only at 20° C (68° F).





4. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the output speed sensor.
- If not correct, replace the output speed sensor.
Resistance
387 - 473 ohms (20° C (68° F))
5. Install the output speed sensor.
Tightening torque
5.0 - 6.8 Nm (50 - 70 kgf.cm, 44 - 60 inch lbs.)
6. Connect the output speed sensor connector.
7. Connect the negative battery cable
