Tilt Wheel Switch: Service and Repair

TILT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Remove the [1][2][3][4][5]combination switch. Refer to Lighting and Horns.





2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Tilt Switch Removal Note
1. Remove the screws.
2. Release the tabs of the tilt switch from the turn lever boot.





3. Slide the tilt switch in the direction indicated by the arrow, then remove it alone the turn lever.

Tilt Switch Installation Note





- After installing the tilt switch, route the harnesses of the [1][2][3][4][5]combination switch as shown.

Band Clip Installation Note





1. Set the harness length from the shaft contact portion as follows.





2. Install band clip as shown.
