Fuel Gauge Sender: Testing and Inspection

FUEL GAUGE SENDER UNIT INSPECTION

1. Remove the fuel gauge sender unit.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between the terminals of the fuel gauge sender unit.




3. Measure the resistance while slowly moving the unit arm from point E to point F.
4. If not as specified, replace the fuel gauge sender unit.
