Dimmer Switch: Testing and Inspection

PANEL LIGHT CONTROL INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the panel light control switch.
3. Measure the resistance of terminals A-B and B-D of the panel light control switch.




4. Verify that the resistance changes from 0 to 100 K ohms as shown in the figure when the panel light control switch is rotated from left to right.
5. If not as specified, replace the panel light control switch.
