Fuel Gauge Sender: Testing and Inspection

FUEL GAUGE SENDER RESISTANCE AND FLOAT TRAVEL MEASUREMENT

1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Remove the fuel pump.




3. Using an ohmmeter, measure and verily that the resistance between the unit terminals is as shown in the following chart while slowly moving the unit arm from point E to point F.

4. If not as specified, replace the fuel gauge sender unit.
