Power Trunk / Liftgate Lock Actuator: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. To remove the trunk key cylinder and trunk lid lock, remove the trunk lid trim.
3. To remove the trunk lid striker, remove the trunk end trim.
4. To remove the trunk lid opener cable, remove the right trunk side trim, rear seat back, left front scuff plate and left rear scuff plate and turn over the cabin carpet.
5. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal indicated in the table.
7. Spread out the cabin carpet and install the left rear scuff plate, left front scuff plate, rear seat back and right trunk side trim.
8. Install the trunk end trim.
9. Install the trunk lid trim.
10. Connect the negative battery cable.
