Possible Cause
^ Weak battery
^ Open or short circuit in wiring harness
^ Poor connection of connector







Step 1
^ Measure the battery voltage.

WARNING: Handling the SAS unit improperly can accidently deploy the air bags, which may seriously injure you. Read SERVICE WARNINGS, before handling the SAS unit.

1. Carry out the "Before Servicing" procedure.
2. Disconnect the SAS unit connector.



3. Connect the negative battery cable.
4. Turn the ignition switch to ON.



5. Measure the voltage at the terminals of the SAS unit connector.
