Displaying & Reading Trouble Codes

1. Connect the Special Service Tool (SST) (NGS) to the data link connector 2 and battery.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Check the diagnostic trouble code(s), referring to the SST (NGS) Instruction Manual.
4. If a diagnostic trouble code(s) is displayed, check for the cause according to the diagnostic trouble code table and repair as necessary.
5. After repair is made, do the After-repair Procedure to verify that there are no remaining codes.
