Crankshaft Position Sensor: Adjustments

CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR ADJUSTMENT
1. Loosen the bolt A.




2. Adjust the air gap between the crankshaft projection and the crankshaft position sensor by using a feeler gauge.

Specification: 0.5-1.5 mm (0.020-0.059 in.)

3. If not adjustable, replace the bracket and readjust the air gap.
4. If not adjustable, replace the crankshaft pulley or the crankshaft position sensor.
