Power Window Switch: Testing and Inspection

Inspection





Main switches
1. Remove the main switch assembly from the driver's door trim.
2. Make sure the power-cut switch is at ON.








3. Check for continuity between the main switch assembly terminates with the main switches in the following positions.





4. Connect the power window main switch connector and measure the voltage at the following terminals. (Only 626 driver's side)
5. If not as specified, replace the power window main switch assembly.

Power-cut Switch

1. Remove the main switch assembly from the driver's door trim.








2. Check for continuity between the main switch assembly terminals with the power-cut switch in the following positions.
3. If not as specified, replace the power window main switch assembly.

Power Window Subswitch

1. Remove the power window subswitch from the passenger's and rear door trim.





2. Check for continuity between the subswitch terminals.





3. If not as specified, replace the power window subswitch.
