Warning Lamp

1. Ensure battery is at full charge and drive belt tension is satisfactory.
2. Place ignition switch in On position and ensure alternator warning lamp illuminates. If it does not, inspect wiring circuit between battery and alternator terminal L, Fig. 13, and between terminal L and warning lamp. Repair as necessary.

3. Start engine and ensure lamp goes out. If it does not, inspect alternator.
