Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection
THERMOSWITCH1. Remove the thermoswitch.
2. Connect battery positive voltage to terminal A and ground to terminal C of the thermoswitch.
3. Connect a test light (12 V, 3 - 18 W) between terminals A and B of the thermoswitch.
4. Immerse the sensor part of the thermoswitch in a container of ice water.
5. Check that the test light condition is as shown below.
6. If not as specified, replace the thermoswitch.
