TCS Off Switch - Traction Control System

TCS OFF Switch Removal / Installation
The TCS OFF switch is installed on the rear console


Switch and ABS/TCS CM Harness Inspection
1. Check the wiring harness between the ABS/TCS control module and TCS OFF switch for short to ground.
2. Remove the ABS/TCS CM connector.





3. Measure the resistance between 1N and ground.

When switch is pressed: 1OO Ohms or less
When switch is released: Infinite

4. If not within the specification, check the harness and the TCS OFF switch.

Switch Operation
1. Remove the TCS OFF switch.





2. Measure the resistance between I and J of the connector.

When switch is pressed: 1OO Ohms or less
When switch is released: Infinite
