Scuff Plate

1. Remove the two (2) screws securing the scuff plate.

2. Remove the scuff plate.

3. Replace the screw grommet.

^ Wrap a wide, flat screwdriver with a shop towel.

^ Gently pry the grommet upward while pushing on the lock tab.

^ Remove screw grommet.

^ Install new screw grommet.

4. Clean the scuff plate installation surface.

5. Align the holes in the scuff plate with the holes in the screw grommets.





6. Confirm that the clearances (A and B) are equal.

7. Tighten the screw until the screw head is flush with the scuff plate.

CAUTION:
Avoid scratches to the scuff plate during installation.
