Downshift Switch: Testing and Inspection

Inspection of continuity
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the kickdown switch connector.
3. Depress the kickdown switch, and check for continuity at the terminal.




4. If not as specified, replace the kickdown switch.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
