ABS Motor (Including Harness to ABS Control Module)

ABS motor (including harness to ABS control unit)
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and disconnect the ABS control unit connector.
2. Measure the resistance between 1L [1C for ABS/TCS] terminal of the control unit connector and a ground.

Resistance: 1 ohm max.

3. If not as specified, check the wiring harness between the motor and the control unit and check the ABS motor.




ABS motor
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect the ABS hydraulic unit connector (2 pin).
3. Measure the resistance between the connector terminals.

Resistance: 1 ohm max.

4. Verify that the motor operates when applying 12 V to connector (2 pin).
5. If not as specified, repair harness or replace the ABS hydraulic unit if necessary.
