Automatic Trans.
INSPECTION1. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.
2. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between throttle position sensor terminals A and C.
Resistance: 4-6 k Ohms
3. If not as specified, replace the throttle position sensor.
4. Reconnect the throttle position sensor connector.
5. Connect the SST to the PCM as shown.
6. Turn ignition switch to ON.
7. Measure voltage at PCM terminal 47 under the conditions shown in image.
NOTE: The voltage increase is linear according to the throttle valve opening angle.
8. Disconnect the SST.
9. If not as specified, adjust the throttle position sensor.
