With Manual Transaxle

PURPOSE
Receives a signal from the transaxle mounted vehicle speedometer sensor and sends the signal to the engine control module.

CONSTRUCTION
The [1][2]vehicle speed sensor is an integral component of the speedometer assembly and is not serviced separately.

Circuit Diagram:

OPERATION
- [1][2]Vehicle speed sensor input terminals 2I & 3G:
- Receive an alternating current signal from the transaxle mounted vehicle speedometer sensor.
- Input terminals are located on the instrument cluster.

- [1][2]Vehicle speed sensor output terminal 2D & ground terminal 2A:
- Forwards the vehicle speed related signal to other control modules in the vehicle.
