Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Testing and Inspection

CAUTION:
- Do not drop subject the sensor to sharp shocks.
- Do not put or allow anything in the sensor.

View: Removing The Mass Airflow Sensor:

VISUAL INSPECTION
- Disconnect the mass air flow sensor connector.
- Remove the mass air flow sensor.
- Check for damage of the sensor.
- Install the mass air flow sensor.

Connect Special Service Tools As Shown:

VOLTAGE INSPECTION
- Disconnect the engine control module (ECM) connectors.
- Connect the special service tool (SST) (Engine Signal Monitor and Adapter Harness) to the ECM as shown.
- Place the SST (Sheet) on the SST (Engine Signal Monitor).

View: Test Specifications:

- Check the voltage of terminals 2O and 2F.
- If not as specified, replace the mass air flow sensor.

Tightening torque: 7.9 - 10.7 Nm (70 - 95.4 in.lb.)
