Dechoke Control System

Purpose
To facilitate starting the engine if the spark plugs become fouled, such as when the engine is flooded.

Operation
Fuel injection is cut if the throttle valve is held wide open throttle while cranking the engine. This allows the spark plugs to dry and purges excess fuel from the cylinders.
