EGR Valve: Testing and Inspection
View: EGR Control Valve Testing:
1. Run engine at idle.
2. Connect vacuum pump to valve and apply vacuum of 40 - 90 mmHg. (1.6 - 3.5 in Hg.)
3. Verify that engine runs rough or stalls. If not as specified, replace valve if no other problems (such as clogged EGR passages) are detected.
