Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

1. Prior to disconnecting battery ground cable, deactivate audio system anti-theft, if equipped.
2. Disarm airbag.
3. Remove knee protector, then disconnect clock spring and combination switch electrical connectors.
4. Remove attaching nuts and disconnect air bag module. Do not strike steering shaft with a hammer, the collapsible shaft may collapse.
5. Remove steering wheel.
6. Loosen attaching screws and remove clock spring connector assembly with combination switch.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
