DESCRIPTION

If you encounter a vehicle with a rough idle or stall after cold start, this may be due to air leakage of the anti-afterburn valve located in air control valve. Test for this problem according to the procedure shown in this bulletin.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1. Start the cold engine and run it at idle.
2. Disconnect the air hose (air pump to air control valve) at the air pump.
3. Place a finger over the air hose opening.
4. Replace die air control valve, if air is sucked into the air hose at idle.
