Hood Latch Release Handle

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the LH fender splash shield. For additional information refer to Body Closures Fender Splash Shield - LH.

2. Remove the hood latch. For additional information, refer to Hood Latch Hood Latch.

3. Remove the LH A-pillar lower trim panel.

4. Remove the 2 hood latch release handle screws.

5. Release the hood latch release handle and cable grommet from the dash panel.

6. Release the 2 cable locators and remove the hood latch release handle and cable.

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
