ISSUE
Some 2009 MKS vehicles equipped with Audiophile standard audio system without navigation and built before 3/9/2009 may experience a loss or gain of the clock time displayed on the front display inter[ace module (FDIM). A gain or loss of up to 15 seconds per week is within design specification. Do not replace the FDIM for this issue. The clock signals are generated by the audio control module (ACM) and displayed on the FDIM. Replacing the FDIM will not resolve the concern.
ACTION
Reprogram the ACM to the latest calibration using IDS release 61.12 and higher or 62.01 and higher.
This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2009.7 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
