Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Disconnect the RH heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) electrical connector.







3. Disconnect the LH HO2S electrical connector.







4. NOTE: If necessary, lubricate the HO2S with penetrating and lock lubricant to aid in removal.

Using the special tool, remove the RH or LH HO2S as necessary.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).







5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Apply a light coat of anti-seize lubricant to the threads of the HO2S.
